IDX was the name before Futurestore.
Before the rebrand, before 600 shops, before the Futurestore control panel existed - this work traded under the name IDX. It was one person building ecommerce websites at a time when the whole idea was novel.
The domain idx.co.uk has been held continuously since before 2000. That's not a marketing claim - it's the actual record. The domain predates Google's public launch. It predates PayPal. It certainly predates Shopify, which didn't exist until 2006.
IDX became Futurestore in the early 2000s. The craft didn't change. The name did.
